Armed Forces Officers Club  organize "3rd Ramadan Open chess Championship" during "13th Ramadan Championship" from 23th  August to 26th August 2009 with Co- Operation of Abu Dhabi Chess & Culture Club in the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi in three separate tournament.

The Organizing committee of the 18th  Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival has the honor to invite all chess players to participate in this prestigious event which includes several FIDE rated tournaments, The program is as follows:

a)     Open Tournament.( Men), 90 Minutes for each player to finish the game with extra 30 seconds for each move form the start ( Fischer System). Prizes increased 1^st : 4000$      2^nd : 3000$     3^rd : 1600$     4^th : 1200$      

b)     Junior : under 15+13+11+9  90 Minutes for each player to finish the game with extra 30 seconds for each move form the start ( Fischer System).

c)     Sheviningen Tournament: (  Nine invited players )90 Minutes for each player to finish the game with extra 30 seconds for each move form the start ( Fischer System )

d)     Blitz Tournament : Open for all  players

e)     Simultaneous Match : Open for all  players
